Prana, Borneo
West Kalimantan, Borneo, Indonesia · 2023 · Acrylic, 20 x 20
Supporting local conservation
The mural Nature's Prana was painted in West Kalimantan, Borneo, for Health in Harmony, an international nonprofit dedicated to reversing deforestation and climate change. They work in a non-colonial way, through human-centered solutions with local communities that bring together healthcare and forest restoration.
Health in Harmony started an educational program for children and teenagers on conservation and the interconnectedness of humans and rainforests. Ekaterina and photographer Vika led workshops in photography, painting and self-discovery to empower young people in environmental advocacy.
Altadena, California · July 2025 · Community mural with sealed prayers
With the survivors of the Eaton Fire
After the Eaton Fire, residents of Altadena, volunteers and nonprofit partners spent four days in July 2025 building and painting this mural, sealing their own written prayers between its layers.
A QR code beside the wall opens Voices of Altadena, where residents speak those prayers aloud, and where anyone can give directly to A Resilient Tomorrow, the Altadena nonprofit helping families rebuild.
Commissioned by a private collector, this mural celebrates the birth of two children, each represented by a spirit animal: a Scorpio and a hummingbird. The Scorpio side is painted with edgy patterns, the divine masculine. The hummingbird side is rendered in soft, gentle spirals, the divine feminine.
At the center is a six-winged stork, an allegory of a six-winged angel and of the surrogate who brought the long-awaited children into the world. The children are forever sheltered under the protective wings of the divine.

Eden Forest Collective
Fillmore, California · 2024 · Acrylic, 8 x 40'
Community building mural
The Eden Forest Collective mural is an educational platform for syntropic agroforestry. A prominent eye symbolizes our collective awakening to life's interconnectedness, surrounded by the fruits, vegetation and flowers grown on the farm. At its center, the iris forms the tree of life, encircled by dancing human figures, humanity as Earth's stewards.
The mural also depicts the Eagle and Condor prophecy, a new era of harmony. Aligned with the cardinal directions by a local Indigenous elder, it invites reflection on our role in nurturing the planet.

Transformation
Black Rock City, Nevada · 2023 · 26 x 8'
Collective art project
Transformation can be an uncomfortable journey, yet it leads us toward a better self. Conceived during meditation, the vision seemed puzzling at first: floating in transforming water. Its true meaning, revealed later, was rebirth and rising into the ether.
At the base, fish symbolize the start of evolution and become eyes as they ascend. At the center a woman surrenders, held in nature's embrace, our ascent to higher consciousness through connection with nature. The topography on her limbs speaks of our deep bond with Mother Earth.

Interconnectedness
Pyramids of Chi, Ubud, Bali · 2023 · Acrylic, 10 x 10'
A map of the soul
A woman-like figure sculpted from the essence of topography represents the mapping of our souls, intertwined with Earth's tapestry. It speaks of self-discovery mirroring the exploration of our world: the landscape outside reflects the world within.
At its heart a human heart glows with golden light, purity and soulful essence, urging us to connect deeply. The third eye speaks of our divine connection, guiding transformative action for the planet and for life.
